Anonymous asked: gay doesn't only mean having a romantic and/or sexual relationship with someone. if I had to sum it up, I'd say it's romantic and/or sexual feelings for someone of the same gender. either way, I personally have no qualms with the phrase when it's being used by queer folks amongst other queer folks who're fine with it. I actually feel more uncomfortable with straight people using it even when they're referring to something that is indeed gay (especially around a lot of other straight people).
